Does anyone know where I can purchase some cottonwood bark. I would like it as thick as possible 3-5inches or so length doesn't matter too much, width again as wide as possible 4-6inches and up. I need a reliable source that sells good quality bark that is not hard as petrafied wood. I live in mich. use to live in nebr. I can get some good stuff but I have to drive 750 miles back to Lincoln to get it. Any help would be really appreciated. Thanks, Jim
Art Olver....the "Barkguy"....or Gene Bremmer, both of which are on this forum! Both great people! There Art and Gene, did I say it the way you told me?
Contact Art though he has better (thicker) bark.... I just have some weird thin stuff laying around. Used to sell diamond willow sticks but even gave that up. Only do carving now, man what a chore to be carving all the time.
