Question Looking for bass wood

Hi all, I am looking for a supplier of basswood that is not harder than oak. I need to buy from an honest person that sells quality wood but isn't a hold-up artist. Any suggestions? Thanks

Here's one I just recently bought some basswood from - I was pleased with the selection and fast service.

As Claude stated Heinecke is going to be a very good supplier.

As stated, Heinecke is top-notch.

Another option (just in case):

I've been buying all of my wood from Dale Heinecke in Cumberland, WI, for more than 15 years now. I've never had a single problem or a single complaint.
Their email is heineckewood@chibardun.net and as it's been said - http://www.heineckewood.com/

The bass wood is really nice wood they supply, I only had one problem with them , I ordered ovals and got squares , no big issue , but I gave them a call and they sent the ovals right out.. so I got more wood !

I have been ordering from Heinecke also. I have never had a complaint and always get just what I ordered. I am waiting on some barkwood and such that I ordered now. Should get it next week.
