I have yet to try carving wood, But instead I carve deer antlers. I recently posted a question: How can you clean a antler thats kind of discolored. I have the answer I was looking for and it may help others as well.... GESSO. Yep it gives me the desired color I was seeking and can also be used as a filler and sanded. It really saved a project I had devoted hours too. Hope this may help someone.... Happy Holidays ... Tuck Ps. I to soon post some of my work,be easy on me....Thumbs Up |
