this drift wood was found in the northern region of GREECE called MACEDONIA the exact location was in KAVALA on a beach called GOLDEN SAND 1 week after the island of thasos caught fire it's probably a knot from roots of grape vine.i spoted it while i was spear fishing.. it looks like there is a lizard in there if you guys can see it!!! and as a hole it looks like a octopuss forth the reason i keep it with my fish colection!!! i am tempted to fidle with it a bit but i dont have the skill yet!!!just thought i'd share it with you guys!!! Nice find! You know what I see are intwined eels and maybe even some shell shapes. It has some real potential and I bet you'll turn it into a really nice carved piece. Looks, like you have a nice fish collection there.
Thanks for sharing,
Kathy

I agree - nice visioning Kathy. It'll make an really nice carving when you get up your courage. I say - GO FOR IT!! It's simple - just remove the stuff that isn't eels, fish, shells and coral. (I know - not a original line.) Bur hey - you'll do great.

Wow! what a vison, I could just let my imagination go wild with sea creatures, and yes I agree with Kathy and others cause I also see eels. I quite often visit a cove off the shoreline South of Bandon,Oregon and pick up drift wood that attracts my attention of some creature I see in the wood. I think driftwood is facinating with probaly years of mysterious history, thanks Oscar
