Doug, I get mine from Art Olver, he is a member here on the forum. Good bark at a fair price. Dave |

I too, get my wood from Art Olver and agree with Dave. I did a while back buy a piece of Cottonwood Bark (about 11" inches long 2" thick from www.woodcarvers.com (Smoky Mountain Woodcarvers Supply. Check with www.chippingaway.com , www.treeline.com , you might check www.sugarpinewoodcarving.com they might have some not sure worth a try.

Just wanted to say I spoke with Chan Schwartz and he does not do mail order CW bark. You have to buy it in NE at his business.

CB....he does sell mailorder but not the CW bark. I spoke with him about ten minutes and he is a nice guy and has good prices for his basswood and sticks.

hi all, Someone mentioned on some post in the hundred or so I read that there is someone in Montana who sells Montana CW bark, which is supposed to be the best to work with. Does anyone know who this person is or might be? I want to find that bark because of its ease of use on my arthritic thumbs and fingers...thanks again Frank in NJ
