Can someone give me some hints about carving and polishing antler? I feel like it would probably be easier to carve it with power. But once I have it carved what do you use to polish it? I have read where you don't want to breathe the dust and will be wearing a dusk mask for sure. I just got out of the hospital for pnuemonia and sure don't want to go back. Lying in a hospital bed for 9 days with tubes sticking out the side of your chest is no picnic. It's a hell of a weightloss program but I sure don't recommend it....lol. I have always taken my lungs for granted I guess but this was certainly a wake up call. In the future there will be a dust mask on my face when making any kind of dust in my shop.
