 Basswood lot I won from ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...MEWN%3AIT&rd=1 I just got this on Thursday, had to go to the post office to pick it up. My back is still hurting from carrying that d@mn3d box. I'm going to have to use my neighbor's table saw to mill the larger pieces into sizes I commonly use, but I should be busy carving for a few months.  |

| Re: Basswood lot I won from ebay some of the bigger pieces look like they've just been quarted, so I may try doing a woodspirit with one of those. I'll probably cut some smaller pieces to workable sizes this week and start doing some stuff. I bought the "Carving Caricature Pins & Bolos" and "Carving Folk Figures" books through the web-only clearance sale that FCP did about a month or so ago. |
