 Re: When is Basswood considered too old to carve? Good news. I got a whole pickup load of northern basswood in my screen porch. I was wondering if it would get too old. I will need to restack it come spring. Most of it is 2-3" thick and 6 to 12 inches wide. Carved some already and it is good. Guess I need to quit my job and get busy.  |
