Default Basswood in Brainard, MN ?

I will be up in the Brainard area next month.

Does anyone know of a good basswood seller up there?

I don't know of any off hand as I have just used dried chunks from the wood pile. I live an hour from Brainerd. If you are interested I could possibly line you up with a full tree that has been down for a year or so that I have been meaning to go and get but haven't yet.

There is a fellow East of Brainerd about
1 1/2 hours at Palisade, MN that does a good job of selling wood. Have sent a number of people to him and they have been happy. Web site is as follows:

also know of an Amish saw mill about 10 miles West of Staples on Highway 210 he is open the year around and has lots of green basswood on hand. I have bought some from him and it is good.
