Antlers, Horns, or Bones.
I know treeline does but are there any more.Hopefully 1 that will allow me to mail them a check or money order and not want me to pay on line with a credit card. |

| | Re: Antlers horns Bones If you live in an area where there is big game hunting you might want to check out the local meat processor. Unless the antlers are going to be used for a trophy, they are usually glad to get rid of them. |

| | Re: Antlers horns Bones Wayne..I don't know about Texas mesquite, but Arizona mesquite when sanded and finished looks just like bone! I just finished a mesquite cane and I am amazed, I don't think you could tell it from bone unless you really looked close! just a thought! |

| | Re: Antlers horns Bones Dave, How does the mesquite carve? And( full of questions, well full of something), have you used the super glue gel in making a carving area stronger? Do you brush on the super glue in the areas you want stronger.
Thanks in advance for your response! |

| | Re: Antlers horns Bones the mesquite carves really well...I was surprised, most of the trees here are hard as nails, but not the mesquite..as for the super glue, I don't use the gel for hardening, I use the regular super glue, the liquid, in fact I just put some on the beak of an eagle on a walking stick to toughen it up..I put in on right from the little bottle. I really don't know if thats the best way or even the best kind of super glue, but thats what I have been doing |
