I found a good supplier up in Elizabeth PA of all places. Try The Hardwood Emporium 412-384-3955 or www.hardwoodlumberagent.com Unfortunately Nicely figured Rosewood has been getting kinda hard to come by so I purchased a small lot of Cocobola the last time. What type Rosewood are you looking for ? Brazilian, Bolivian, Madagascar, Maritime, etc... I have a few pieces of 8/4 CB left that are appx. 3" X 36" at $35.00 to 38.00 a bdft. ? I'll have to check the price. HTH. Marc

This isn't in your state, or even in your country, but A & M Wood Specialties Inc in Cambridge Ontario Canada will have what you want. They do ship to the U.S. As a woodcarver, I was amazed at the quality and quantity of what they stocked. Alot of African and South American wood. Had to wipe the drool from my chin the first time I visited. www.amwoodinc.com They also stock a considerable number of blanks for instruments, so there is a good chance your friend could order 20 rosewood flute blanks |
