 wood stains Is wiping stain the same as a gell stain? I'm not sure which one to get. They seem to have the same properties and applications.  |

| Re: wood stains :  Well, I actually wipe on all stains. Maybe thats a no-no to a real woodworker but I don't see any big Uh-oh's when I'm done. The gel might be hard to get out of fine details unless you are going for the antiqued look. :P
