Default Steel wool or other finish on Deft

On the 20th of June I put up two photos,.One an unfinished hawk, the other a stylized female.. The latter is the one I want to refinish..I can't find her,(computer wiz). I use Deft, usually a Satin finish..A very excellent carver named Charles had a great Norbury hawk at a recent Ohio show..The finish just glowed,no glare, shine. He told me steel wool 001? grit.I've used 004, had to respray...Is there some place I can find out about steel wool sizes, also, are there "Tuffy" pads that will work the same way on lacquer? If you happen to stumble across the female carving, would you be so kind as to tell me where I left her? Thanks Nad PS, also, think wife and dog are lost?????

You mean this one?

two photos showing? - Wood Carving Illustrated Photo Gallery

On the left of your screen, select Carver Galleries, then click on MEMBER GALLERIES, then click on the "N", and search for yourself.
