Default Show me your Paint Rack / Paint Storage

How do you store or organize your paint? I do not have a lot of space in my work shop so all my paints are in a box, which is not easy to find a color when you need one. I would like to make a rack to hold my paint and need some ideas. Will you show me how you store your paint?
Thanks

This is mine (kind of messy right now).. It holds a bunch though.

Somewhere on this forum, there is an old thread on paint storage systems. You might search and see if you can pull it up.

Neat paint rack Kris! I would never have thought of designing one that way...with wooden pegs! Thanks - It sure beats my plastic boxs to hold my paints! One more reason to subscribe to the forum. Safe carving to you!

I have a commercially produced rack that is 2-sided and turns. Overflow goes in a shoebox!

Mine are in drawer, the first thing I do when getting paint is paint the top of the cap totally with the paint. that way I know what color is in there. I often mix paints with other colors, and the top tells me what is inside.

Mine's a beatup cardboard box that I keep under my desktop. I drag it out when it's time to paint and I cram it back under when I'm finished to get it out of my way.

Mine are in a stack of unfinished particle board (now painted) drawers. Each bottle has the BOTTOM painted and all is stored upside down.
Upside down paint bottles don't form that clear gunk on top and the last a lot longer.

I'm afraid that I'm still in the box too. I have found that putting a dot of the color on the top of the cap and writing its name with a fine-tipped sharpey, they are much easier to find.
