Sid, I bought the Kirges inflatable sanders (search Google) I got the round one and the 2 inch drum, they are worth their weight in gold. I also bought Mop Sanders, problem solved, sanding cherry and walnut spoons is a breeze with them. Cliff |

for the most part i use the guenevere system from king arthur, which is an inflatable drum type system. my problem; no patience. however, there is no system to cure for that. i start roughing with the power grinders and finish with them with the sanding disks. from there is usually go to guenevere, and i work up the grits. thereafter i usually hand sand from 400 grit to 600, with some spit sanding on the way up. i have a belt sander that i haven't wired up yet, but will do so this weekend. i don't have a shadow light, which is something i know i really need. |

I just got some scrapers a couple of days ago and have been using them to scrap off the marks left by my kutzall burrs. Sure beats sanding by hand. I will probably still have to do some hand sanding, but so far I'm pleased.
