Here's a tip you may like when you run into gummy unmixed paints and stains. Place a small pebble (pea gravel) in your paint vials and small stain cans and shake. It mixes paints and stains really well. Wash the pebbles and bleach them before use. Works like a ball bearing in a spray can. Try it, you'll like it. Dennis
