Here's yet another idea. One of the reasons I sometimes use water color paints (not the kind little kids use at school--but rather the artist kind that comes in little tubes) is that once you get your colors mixed, you can paint til you drop--then let them dry out. Because there's no acryllic (plastic) in them, all you do is add water to reconstitute the paint.

If I'm using acryllics--I just keep on painting until I get done cause I've tried to match new mixtures and have never had much luck in getting very close on colors.

Donna_T, when using water colors, when it dries what kind of finish do you use?
