I had to put some epoxy on my latest carving and now I am faced with how to paint it so the patch does not show. I have never painted epoxy before. Any suggestions?

Try putting a little gesso on top of the patch. I believe that should bond to the epoxy and serve as a bonding agent for the paint.

Thanks for the suggestion on the Gesso. It worked just fine and you cannot tell where the wood and epocy meet.
