Default Paint
Does anyone use watercolors to paint your carvings? I have always used acrylics but recently decided to try watercolors. I bought a cheap set from Walmart to see if I liked them or not. I use a lot of water and the color penetrates the wood. It looks more like a tent that paint. I like the watercolors and believe I will buy a more expensive set.

Hey al I have never tried water colors myself on carvings, but I know a few people who do. The only ? I have is how much does the grain raise, or what do you do to prevent it. have fun, carve oldbearx2
