 Outdoorpainting Hello, This autumn I have made a lion as a woodrelief about 27,58 x 19,7 inches. I want to paint it in gold and the background in a bleu colour. Could You help me with some suggestion how to get the best colour and how to prepare the surface. The woodrelief will be placed on sunny,wet and windy wall about 200 inches up. | Re: Outdoorpainting Check your local craft store....there are some fairly new acrylic paints made specifically for outdoor use. I seem to remember them having metalics in that type, too. One thing I've found, if you use even the best grade gold or other metalic paint and then varnish over it, the gold and metalics loose their luster. Al |
