 Oscar We have a new grandson called Oscar and I have carved an "Oscar the Grouch" plaque for him from Jelutong. I want to paint it and have just bought some acrylic paints but should I put a sealer on before I paint it. I was thinking of a water based lacquer or sealer. Would these be suitable for acrylic finishing.  |

| Re: Oscar Most guys i know spray on a coat or two of Krylon 1311 matte finish it seems to work fine for them. feb

| Re: Oscar I'm with Hi-Ho! Take a similiar piece or two of wood and try a couple of different techniques. It would be a shame to ruin your work if one method or the other didn't turn out right.
