Default A Non-Painting Painting Tip

Colin has inspired me (by one of his recent posts) to post a small tip of my own that I just thought of. Perhaps it's been mentioned before - but I felt it was worthy mentioning.

As I finished up a Santa the other day I was about to write down some notes describing what color paints I used. Being the lazy kind of guy I am - I figured it would be faster if I took a photo instead (see photo). This work out so well I may being doing this all the time now.

Great tip Ken. I love to "document" things with a digital camera but never thought to use it for paint work. Neat idea.

"Oh the weather outside is frightful but inside it's so delightful!" See, Ken, you've got us in the mood! We've just got to get through a couple of more hurricanes, Halloweenie, and Thanksgiving, and then we can get busy on our Santa's! Thanks for the tip!
