Default what is myrtlewood?

Is the myrtlewood you are talking about the same as the summer flowering trees found here in southeastern part of the USA? I have never seen many get much larger than 8 inches around. The trunks do twist around alot and make they shed their bark each year. I use other peoples trimming to mount my birds to sometimes.I get that look from my wife when I come home from the store and there are limbs tied to the roofrack. I have carved small things from the larger stock.

Crape myrtle

The westcoast Myrtle is different than the crape myrtle of the southeast.

Dave I gotta tell ya, that is a leading question. Myrtle wood, is wood owned by Myrtle. Plain and simple, no buts about it. Listen to me boy, just don't understand ya, its right there in front of ya.
