Hi everyone, I have never done this so I need some direction. I would like to apply gold leaf to some carvings. The application is carving to be placed onto the sides of miniature circus wagons. These were the very ornate parade wagons from years past. Thanks in advance. Tony |

Gold leafing is easy, Most important part, make sure base area is smooth. I use a under coating of sign paint because it is glossy. Than put the sizing on allow it to dry, Use a very soft brush to lift the gold leaf up, place it gently on the surface. When finished, rub with a cotton ball to polish it. I get my supplies from D.i.c.k Blick online. If you search the web you should find some info on gold leafing. Have Fun!
