Default finishing cottonwood

I am doing a large fish 36" long in cottonwood. I need a silky smooth finish on it. No colors. s?

feed-n-wax i got it at smoky mountain woodcarvers and it just enhances the natural color easy to use,mac and beth are great people to deal with alsohttp://www.woodcarvers.com
