Default Airbrush questions

Hey there,
I am starting to think about investing in a good airbrush. I need to know a good type and model as well as things to look for from someone who uses one.

Thank you,
Dan

Hi Dan, I think your best bet on selecting and buying an Airbrush wopuld be to go to BearAir, they have great friendly airbrush artists that will be a big help to you. WWW.BEARAIR.COM. 1-800-232-7247. Great prices also. Merle

I agree, BearAir is a good place to check when you are ready to buy.

I have owned and used Paache, Badger, and Iwata (unfortunately BearAir no longer carries Iwata airbrushes). I prefer double action airbrushes, as they give a bit more control. If possible, find somewhere to try some airbrushes before you make a purchase.

Here is a site that may help you in your search.

Hope it helps.

Thank you for the information. Bearair have me a couple of ideas. The one I like is this: PEAK C-5 Gravity Feed Airbrush, The Official Airbrush of Airbrush.com University! * 0.3mm tip size for supreme atomization * 1/3oz Gravity Feed Color Cup * Pre-set Handle * Smooth, Double Action for ultimate control * Lifetime Warranty on Body * Spray Pattern: Hairline to 1" * Micro machined needle to handle all mediums * Needle Cap minimizes turbulence * Non Skid Trigger * Quality Chrome Finish.
Can someone who knows something about airbrushes tell me if it seems good to you as well? I will try to track down a local dealer and see if I can try it out.
Thanks,
Dan

I do not know much about the Peak brand, but from the specs it sounds like a good choice. I like the gravity feed airbrushes a lot.

Thanks, I'll probably buy this one. By the way, I saw that Bear Air sells this same brush on Ebay for less then they charge on their site.
