Default Travel set of tools- how made

Here a web site showing how a set of compact carving tools were made with interchangeable tool blades/tips made from concrete nails.
Darrell Feltmate is from Nova Scotia, Canada, he is very good turner and his web site has lots of woodturning info, but this carving tool project he made for his daughter may be of interest to some of the woodcarving toolmakers on this forum.

Enjoy.

Cheers.

i couldnt get with that idea becuse of the threads and head would have weakened it the way he used the head and just pounded them flat....
but this looks like it might work. for mini tools.
