got my knife from rick a few weeks ago and have put it to the test. i am happy to say that it has passed with flying colors. i love my rick ferry special.and wouldnt trade it for nothing. i too am happy i found rick very good service and craftsmanship. thanks rick

Dave, they are a Quilted/Curly Maple; the gold color is natural.

Do they come "trained"...not to leave fuzzies, not to pop off wood, not to cut the owner? I think I'd buy them if they come with a warranty for the above things!

I got my knives today. They are better than the pictures. The roughout knife is beefy just like it should be. The general carving knife turns on a dime and the detail knife is very delicate. they're razor sharp and look beautiful. Thanks Rick!
