| | Re: Thanks to Rick That is indeed a real beaut! Love that curved handle too. Sometimes a picture is so good that I can actually "feel" it in my own hand just by looking and this one sure feels good!! |

| | Re: Thanks to Rick Great lookin knife. I have a question for you knife makers. Anybody use old straight razors to fashion the blades? If so, how much should I have to pay to buy old straight razors at flea markets or antique stores? I see lots of them out there. Thanks TOM H |

| | Re: Thanks to Rick Bart, the wood is quilted maple dyed red. The finish is just unbelievable.
Kenny, my bride of 29 years was responsible for me getting this knife!
If I can ever talk Rick into coming to the east coast, maybe I can find out how he gets such an edge on his knives.

| | Re: Thanks to Rick another great looking knife! What are the lengths of the knives? I have gotten two knives from each razor except one I made into a 3 inch knife......a lot more time doing that, but hate to waste good steel LOL ![004[1]](http://www.woodcarvingillustrated.com/forum/images/smilies/004[1].gif) | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
