Default Thanks to Rick

The picture just does not do justice to this new detail knife Rick made for me. It cuts as good as it looks!

That is indeed a real beaut! Love that curved handle too. Sometimes a picture is so good that I can actually "feel" it in my own hand just by looking and this one sure feels good!!

Great lookin knife. I have a question for you knife makers. Anybody use old straight razors to fashion the blades? If so, how much should I have to pay to buy old straight razors at flea markets or antique stores? I see lots of them out there. Thanks TOM H

Bart, the wood is quilted maple dyed red. The finish is just unbelievable.

Kenny, my bride of 29 years was responsible for me getting this knife!

If I can ever talk Rick into coming to the east coast, maybe I can find out how he gets such an edge on his knives.

Chuck

Bygeorge, My little bride of 38 years doesn't love me as much as your little bride of 29 years. Just my luck. AGHHHHHHHHHHH! Well maybe the little Number One Granddaughter will.......... Nah, Guess I will have to get a hold of Rick or his little bride and put me name on the list. Hey that is it, I'll call Monday! Glory days are here again! hehehehehehehehehe
