Seeing the question about the Lee Valley adze made me think of this question. How does everyone sharpen their adzes? Power, hand? Sandpaper? I sharpen mine by hand with various slipstones and finally with a homemade strop.....but it sure is a chore. So.......what do do? |

A carver friend of mine uses several adzes and some homemade tools of similar design. He sharpens them with one of them floppy buffing wheels and they come out real sharp! Denny |
