Default Sharpening an Adze

Seeing the question about the Lee Valley adze made me think of this question. How does everyone sharpen their adzes? Power, hand? Sandpaper?

I sharpen mine by hand with various slipstones and finally with a homemade strop.....but it sure is a chore.

So.......what do do?

A carver friend of mine uses several adzes and some homemade tools of similar design. He sharpens them with one of them floppy buffing wheels and they come out real sharp!
