| | Seahorse whittlers I still don't think they are the best, or even good, carving knives, but they sure are pretty (I'd better like them, 28 and counting). I have had some Case knives in the past
was never a real big fan of them
I always preferred the
Schrade Uncle Henry Old Timer
but with Schrade out of business I guess i had better find another brand that I like
guess that means that the next every day pocket knife i buy will probably be made by Case |

| | Re: Seahorse whittlers If you want a really good daily use knife look at the "steel warrior" or "roughrider" knives. You can get them on ebay for less that $10 and they are of exceptional quality for the price and good quality at almost any price. Problem with them is the blades are made in Germany and the knife is completed in China. If you can get over that, they are an exceptional buy. I think the steel warrior may be a slightly better, but can't really tell. |
