Thanks everyone I think for now I will continue to use the manual strop. I'm not to sure I want to try it while it's moving.

Goody& All If you want just type everything regular I have my computer set up to automatically enlarge everything that comes on the screen. I appreciate everyone trying to help me out. I hope I get my new software in the next week or so.

Ron,
You are suppose to set up the power hone backwards to a grinder, and you work off the top
so if your blade hangs, and gets cought it throws away from you,

with speed control of different size pullies, 2 speed or veriable speed motor, you can change belt like drillpress or lathe. and slow the rpm down not as slow as a hand hone but slower than a bench grinder. you keep it slow to keep heat from building up as well..
