Default Power Carving Tools

I have just finished reading all about Bandsaws and I have learned so much , so I can pass this on to my husband ( ha ha)
this is my question : I am using a Wecheer carving mashine the hand piece with the chisel, I like the action very much but I find the coil over the handpiece getting very hot after 5-10 minutes that I have to stop and let it cool down. I have already got a new handpiece ,thinking that might be the problem but it still does it, does anybody own a mashine like this?? and can help me??
Thanks so much for all the good help I can get in this Forum.
Alice

Wink Re: Power Carving Tools

I have the same machine. Have used it for 2 years with no problems. I have two separate hand pieces a small detail one and a larger one that accepts up to 1/4 inch shafts. I have really put it through the paces on some very hard woods and it has not had the problems that you are referring to.
I would call the company.
I called them when I wanted to confirm which hand pieces were interchangeable with their machine and they were very helpful.

Thanks for your reply I have been in touch with Wecheer but only for the handpiece they send me a new one and I thought this would solve the problem but it does not, you are right and I do will write them again and as you said they are very helpful.
My husband always tells that I expect to much from the tools I have, So thanks for telling me too that you used the machine on Hardwood which I use most of the times.
