| | Re: Pocket knife for carving Good day, Does anyone use a hook knife. They are very different to use but once you've used one it will quickly become indespensible. I've posted some new material on my site in hookknives. If anyone is interested I'll post and explain how to make one. |

Thanks for the tutorial, and yes I would be interested in more info. I recently tried to make a hook knife with a sawzall blade, and I don't know yet if I can get an edge on it. It was practice, and I enjoy the process. I hope to make more tools in the future. (And I like your website).
