I am just starting a printmaking class and just want to make sure I bought the right tools for the job. I am not having to buy as much for the class as I expected so I decided to go with the Pfeil brand since I could afford a little more and I hope to do some other wood carving in the future. I picked up the C set of Pfeil Palm Handled tools and the thing that concerns me is it has "Lino" on the box. I just want to verify that these are really for wood working and not just for Linoleum. Thanks for any help.
Thank you for your response. There is more written on the package but since I don't read swedish I didn't know what it said. I know my teacher mentioned staying away from tools only for linoleum. Thanks again.
From looking at the catalog it appears that Pfeil makes an A,B,C and D set and they are for woodcarving and naturally would also easily cut linoleum blocks for block/press printings. Pfeil are great tools and I have a few I wouldn't trade for any other brand. They also arrive sharp and ready to carve.
Good luck, Norb
