Dave
I donn't know if you have checked out Nora Hall's site for tools yet, or how they compare in price with others, but I bought mine there because of the way they were prepared.

OK ...I ordered the Stubai. Got a very good price on a good starting set of 6....not a set, 6 individual chisels anyway, hard choices, so many brands and not having used them, hard to know what to get and buying just for price doesn't get it most of the time....even paying top dollar does not assure a good quality......there is no substitute for experience.....but....unfortunately experience it is expensive Â* Â*I have no doubt I will like the Stubai, I have not heard one complaint about them....really looking forward to butchering up some wood! ha ha Â* thanks everyone for your input...Dave ...forgot to mention, I am getting these through Marcia Berkall, 'mush' and she is on here occasionally if you need some Stubai tools!

Let us know, Dave how those Subais work out. As far as good judgement goes, I've always said:

'Good judgement is the result of experience. Experience is the result of poor judgement.' hehehe
