The LWE mini grinder Is made by a German company (Proxxon), so the should be available everywhere, but I got mine from Mountain Heritage Crafters ( WWW.MHC-online.com)

the Problem I had with my mini grider was that I bought one of the first kits that came out put it on my angle grinder, and I dont think it was a perfect match. I would hog into ssome wood, and the belt would get too much tension and snap. If your angle grinder is working fine then dont spend money you dont have to!

the LWE Grinder looks like a miniature angle grinder. The arbor is just a smidge bigger than the hole in a Arbortech cutting disk ( maybe a 1/16 or 1/32) so you have to drill it out to 3/16'. It has direct drive, so there is no belt to break. The motor is smaller (and quieter)_ than a angle grinder, but I havent noticed any less torque. Pplus it is variable speed.

I had this idea when the grinder first came out but didn't know if it would work. Then on the back inside cover of WCI there was an add for King Arthur tools with the 'percival' on the LWE grinder so I figured it was worth the try.

Teri-when you reply to a message look up where all the settings are, click the M that has the left arrow and when it inserts itself into you message, type any message you want into it. It's called markquee.
Ps type it where it says stuff. And then delete the word stuff.
