Default OH Happy Day

Don't ya just love getting a new tool!? I just had to share this. Yesterday my Proxxon LWE grinder grinder arrived, and My plan worked. I took my carbide bit from my Arbortech mini grinder, drilled it out to 3/16 and put it on the grinder--and it worked like a champ. Over the time I have had my arbortech mini grinder, I have replaced the belt (9.00 ea) 7 times, and it's getting kinda old. Plus it's a lot quieter, so wifey will still be able to hear Fraiser while Im in the basement grinding away. It has a gear driven head so even though the motor isn't as big, you aren't limited by the lttle rubber belt.

Â* Â* I'm happy to hear about your new tool but when I checked back here before logging off and saw your 'subject' I thought it would be an update on your health. Â*I (and I'm sure many others) have been waiting to hear how you're doing? Â*An update...please! Â*Callynne

Sorry Callynne, with all the hubbub I caused the first time---anyway, Im fine. Turns out it wasn't cancer at all, it was tuburculosos(sp). I had it, I fought it, I conquered it. It's calcified remains left a marble sized lump in my lung. Basically, If I ever have to use a steroid based medicine it could trigger the TB, but otherwise its harmless. thatnk you all for your concearn and prayers Lorax

Hi Lorax
Since I am always looking for new Powertools please fill me in 'what is a Proxxon LWE grinder grinder'??????? Is it only available in U.S.?? and what did you have to do to fit it onto a grinder? Why did you have so much trouble with the belt? I had problems at the beginning but I put the belt on the wrong way and I have mine A G. now for 4 years.
thanks for your answer in advance
