I try to log in once a day, sometimes twice. It depends on the weather. If it's cool in the morning, I stay in and surf the net, now that it's in the 90's in the afternoon, I go outside in the mornings and do my surfing when it's hot.

I log in automatically.

While recovering, I check whenever I need a break. When working, I check after I get home in the evening. I have cookies enabled, so I don't have to log in every time.

Probably a couple of times per day on the average. During the work week, sometimes at morning coffee break, then in the evening at home. On weekends, maybe half a dozen times per day, such as when I get done with a couple chores, when my hand gets tired from carving, when I'm letting paint dry, etc.

Every day at least twice but sometimes more. I hit WCI first thing in the morning, while I'm waiting for supper, and sometimes around lunch or just before bedtime.

Dang, I must be a freak, I check the forum every time I come into the room, probably a dozen times a day. I'm like Thomp. I'm up in the middle of the night and also have a look see for anything new. I only have to log on once every 24 hours and never take a peek without logging on. Heck, I've never had so many friends in any of my 77 years and I ain't gonna miss anything.
Regards to all
Cliff

"My name if Lynn Doughty. It's been 30 minutes since I last checked the WCI forum. I have an Internet addiction."

If this sounds a little like the speech I might give at my first AA meeting it's meant to as Internet addiction is on it's way to being recognized as a sickness. Just read this article:
Internet addiction is a 'clinical disorder' - Telegraph

I love the Internet. If I'm not down the hill in the shop whittling something, out riding Boomer around the place, or driving the mower I'm setting here at this keyboard. I turn it on around 5:00 in the morning and it runs till about 9:00 in the evening. I'll bet I check the forum about 10-15 times each day at least if not more. I've already told my kids that if I should ever end up in an old folks home just make sure to give me Internet access. Like the saying goes.....

"The Only Way They're Going To Take Away My Keyboard Is When They Pry It From My Cold, Dead Hands"!

First thing in the morning with a wake up cup of tea and the last thing at night before I tuck in! Usually at least once during the day, depending on how busy I am with other things ....... like carving!

The site and the folks on it are like my social gathering now a day, nay, almost like a family. We have more in common than most of the folks who I see every day around here.
