Default New Stubai tools - Thanks WCI, Top Tips

Late as it is I would like to thank the folks at Wood Carving Illustrated for the opportunity to let me submit a top tip suggestion.

I would tell anyone to offer tips to make things easier for themselves or others to get originized or tips as how to do something, it can really pay off.

As the winner of top tips this issue i received a set of 5 full sized mallet chisels featured at http://www.woodcarverswarehouse.com/...647c3219b79369

being a charter carver and these tools were 11 inches long, simply too big,

i was raised in the country idea that you are suppose to keep any gift no matter how horrible or worthless it was,(guess thats why i get things so cluttered)
so after much inner thought, and discussion with others i arrived at the
conclusion to contact wood carvers warehouse, (seller of stubai tools) and see if they would swap for some useful palm tools, mark wilcox returned my email with an offer s awop + s&H of the
Midwestern Set - 10pc <link<

<< Reg = $278.50 SPECIAL WHOLESALE PRICE = $149.95
(from his advert)
Warehouse Exclusive!
Great for Teachers, Dealers, Clubs ... anyone looking for a fantastic carving set at a great price!
Includes these 5 tools from the Minnesota Set:
#3-5mm Palm (3/16")
#5-7mm Palm (1/4")
#9-6mm Palm (1/4")
#11-4mm U-Palm (1/8")
#47-4mm V-Palm (1/8")

PLUS:
#5-3mm Palm (1/8")
#11-3mm Palm (1/8")
#11-6mm Palm (1/4")
#41-3mm V-Palm (1/8")
#41-8mm V-Palm (5/16")

Each tool is packaged in a plastic pouch!

I told mark to hold me a set and shipped him the stubai mallet tools off,,
4 days i had the new set.
now that i have had time to use the tools and learn the different shape, tools purpose, that i didnt have in my hodge podge collection, I have to say,
folks if your thinking of buying palm chisels any time soon JUMP on a set of these babys

ive used them bout 2 weeks,
recarving some details i couldnt carve before into some of my carvings i gave up on, and creating a couple others, and folks i havent had to hone i single one of them yet...

I Dont know if its just new tools or if the Quality of the tools that motivated me to get going again.. but i dont set long now days without one of them in my hand,
sometimes i catch myself with several in hand because i dont want to stop and put them down, ha!

worth taking a look at, and mark said there for a limited time only,
You cant find folks easier to work with thanks again WCI and wood carvers warehouse.
