Default New Mallet

A discussion on this board the other day got me thinking about a new mallet.
I asked a friend if he would be willing to turn me a mallet based on Chris Pye's "Favorite Mallet" design fromhis website.
Boy did he ever!

With any luck I have resized the images and attached them below.
The mallet is mahogany and maple.

wow Russ, that is one slick-lookin' mallet. I'd almost hate to use it, it's such a nice display piece. Good luck with it.
