Mark & OG,
I thought Phil & Vicki had a holder of a similar type be sold by Dave Stetson, it was hooked up to a Delta sander.

Mark, am I reading you right that you use the Chipping Away sharpener with the jig because it is easier to maintain the nagle than it would be with the Burke? Could the jig be hooked up to the Burke? or is it preferred because it is a flat sharpening system and the on the Burke you would have to deal w/ the diameter of the wheels?


hate to sound like a real idiot when it comes to sharpening, but what is the difference between sharpening and honing? and what is the difference again between stropping and polishing?

The system the Bishop's had is from Denny,I don't think it would be real easy to mount the jig to the burke,their was very little modifying to do to the Chipping Away system.
