 Micro sharpening :-/ Has anyone ever tried to sharpen those 'Dockyard' micro carving tools? I bought a jig holder for them, but its too stiff to use. I don't own a microscope. They need a small Whoville type person to even see the edge. Â*:-/  |

| Re: Micro sharpening I use those Dockyards constantly and keep them sharp by stropping them on the leather wheel of my Burke sharpener. If one needs more treatment I use the diamond stone and then the leather wheel. The 'rag' wheel of the Burke takes care of cleaning/polishing the inside of the tiny tools. Works for me.  |

| Re: Micro sharpening Only thing I can add is be very carefull how long you leave them in contanct with the wheel xxx those tiny bits of steel don't take much to overheat them and lose there temper. |
