Default MHG tools?

I was just on hartville tools website and saw that there is a new line of tools(to me) on there called mhg tools. Im not sure what country its coming out of but they look real nice in the pics. Has anyone had any experience with them cause they are pretty vague with the descriptions of the steel and things like that. So let me know..

Did a search on MHG tools, it looks as though they're a German company. Went to Hartville tool site and it says they are German. I've been in Hartville tool and most of the stuff they carry is good quality stuff. German steel has been known to be good steel for some time and I would assume it still is. I don't have any experience with MHG, but I wouldn't be afraid to try it if I was in the market for that type of tool.

I have some MHG woodworking chisels and they work fine. I also bought an MHG carving knife which I don't like. It is very hard to sharpen.

I think the best deal at Hartville is the Flexcut starter set. You get over $200 worth of tools for $150 and free shipping. The free shipping is on orders over $75 during November.

Hartville Tool is a top rate company and guarantees everything they sell.
