Default Mastercarver Sharpener

Has anyone used the mastercarver sharpener? http://www.woodcarverssupply.com/sto...tem=1&mitem=32
I did a search of the forums to no avail. I just received a catalog and they have a favorable comment by Chris Pye on it.

Thanks
Chris

I have never see the tool before. As an old tool and die maker I can see where it might have some spring but then it is of stable design.
The tool should sell for under $25 not $99. To me it is way, way over priced. If you are creative look at it and build one out of wood.

I believe "OarCarver" sells something similar.
