Default making a tool handle for a flexcut gouge

Curious if anyone has the unhandled tools, and if you might know how to go about making a handle for them, instead of the purchased handles, don't really like either much, and wondering if anyone knows a "how to" for handles, how to hold the tool in the handle?...can it be just a slot, and do you then glue in with epoxy for a permanet fit..

Talking Re: making a tool handle for a flexcut gouge

Hey Dennis i have a huge set of the SK interchangeable handle tools from Flexcut, tryed to make my own handles but wasn't worth it so I just bought some more . If ya havn't recenlty, check out there selection of handles the small one is really nice I am going to buy another few of those.
I know and can see clearly exactly what, I want to carve.

cut a slot and cut some thin wedges and drive in the slot after the tool head is on the handle.

I have bought a couple of the SK individual tools, as there was only certain ones I wanted. I made my own handles, the shape I wanted & epoxied them in, I like a little larger handle. Use Beech or Oak, drill hole or make slit, belt sand shape & clear coat. It is more work than buying, but I don't care for the factory handles.
