Default making a portable battery operated buffing wheel?

hi there, here i go , i want to make a small portable buffing wheel , that is battery operated and i thought maybe one could be made from a forum motor, have any of you made one of these, i know there is one on the market but i am not willing to spent money on it cause its leather, not a buffing wheel, if any of you have any ideas i am open to them, thanks so much happy carving
