 Re: Making Carving tools Thanks everyone. This info is for a new carver who is also interested in blacksmithing. I will send it on to him. For what it's worth, "The Complete Modern Blacksmith" by Alex Weygers is an excellent text on tool making. I think you can still get it on Amazon. Weygers was a superb sculptor and an excellent blacksmith who made his own tools. Go here for more information: Alex Weygers Renaissance Man
