Default Love my Lee Ferguson's

I just got a couple of Lee Feguson carving knives and I absolutely love them! Very easy to use, and sharp as heck. In visiting with him by email, I found out he knew a Custom Knife maker that lived near me..... about 3 miles up the road. They are good friends. I went up to see Bill , and told him I had bought a couple of Lee's knives. Bill told me he had never made any carving knives, but that he'd make me a set if I'd trade him some of my Indian Pottery.... the deal was made. He had me draw out the blades I'd like to have and their dimensions, along with what kind of handles I'd want. He's gonna build me a set of 8 knives out of RC 64 metal and Zebra wood handles.. I'm really excited to see how they turn out. Plus, he said he sharpen them at any time as part of the deal! If any would like to see the Custom Knives that Bill makes..... check out customknives.com (The posting program places some kind of symbol in place of the name p.o.s.t. )

Take care, all!

Kim

Dave, I will post the pics when I get them. He said it may be 3 weeks or so..... he's filling orders from his last Gun and Knife show. But, when I get ahold of them, I'll take some pics.
