Talking lathe tools...dull as heck

Does anyone know where I can send these to be sharpened? I would so appreciate it! Thanx!

I would guess that Rick can handle the job. A quick pm or email would find out for sure. He uses a lathe, so pretty sure he knows how to sharpen the tools.

Sharpening lathe tools isn't rocket science if you have an electric bench grinder. They are a lot easier to sharpen than your carving tools. If you are doing a lot of turning you might have to sharpen them several times during a session so sending them away would not be practicable. Most books on turning have sections on sharpening gouges, I'm a fan of Richard Raffan myself but there are tons of others.

Cheers

Peter
